Interim Supplier Cyber Risk Manager

Vanderlande is looking for an experienced interim professional to establish the foundations for cyber supply chain risk management and regulatory compliance across its sourcing and supplier ecosystem.

You will translate regulatory requirements, including the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), relevant CE and machinery legislation, and internal cybersecurity standards into practical procurement, supplier management, contracting and governance processes. Your goal is to establish a risk-based framework, clear governance and a prioritized implementation roadmap to support sustainable compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Define a practical cyber supply chain risk management framework, aligned with the long-term strategy for integration into Source-to-Pay tooling. Develop a risk-based supplier segmentation and assessment methodology, embedding cybersecurity requirements into supplier onboarding, qualification and ongoing monitoring. Translate regulatory requirements and existing controls into clear procurement checks, evidence requirements and acceptance criteria. Coordinate CRA readiness assessments across the existing product portfolio, working with technology teams and category managers to identify gaps and embed cybersecurity checks into sourcing and product lifecycle decisions. Align roles, responsibilities and governance across Business Units, Procurement, Legal and GISO. Develop a prioritized implementation roadmap and handover package to support long-term execution. Support stakeholder engagement, awareness and change management.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Rate is to be discussed, depending on experience. Around €90-€110 ex. per hour.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, compliance or cyber governance.Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and standards, such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), NIS2, ISO 27001 and/or IEC 62443.Experience translating regulatory requirements into practical business processes and controls.Strong stakeholder management and change management skills.Experience collaborating with Procurement, Supplier Management, Legal and Information Security teams.Preferably, experience in industrial, manufacturing, technology, automation or Operational Technology (OT) environments.
