MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Als Maintenance Technician werk je in het nieuwe Fulfilment Center van Picnic in Dordrecht/Ridderkerk, waar je zorgt dat geavanceerde intralogistieke systemen betrouwbaar blijven draaien. Je lost zelfstandig elektrische en mechanische storingen op, voert preventief onderhoud uit en analyseert terugkerende problemen om structurele verbeteringen door te voeren. Bij complexe storingen werk je samen met leveranciers en operationele supervisors. Daarnaast deel je jouw kennis met minder ervaren collega’s en draag je bij aan een steeds efficiëntere operatie.

Je werkt in een 5-ploegenschema binnen een fulfilmentcenter dat 24/7 operationeel is.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Opsporen en oplossen van elektrische en mechanische storingen. Uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud aan intralogistieke systemen. Analyseren van storingen en voorkomen dat deze terugkeren. Samenwerken met leveranciers en operationele teams bij complexe problemen. Initiëren en implementeren van technische verbeteringen. Ondersteunen en coachen van minder ervaren collega’s.

Wie ben jij?
Je hebt een technisch mbo-diploma op niveau 3 of hoger.Je hebt 2–3 jaar ervaring in een technische of onderhoudsfunctie.Je hebt praktische kennis van elektrische en mechanische systemen, meetapparatuur en camerasystemen.Je hebt interesse in softwaretools zoals CMMS en ICS/SCADA.Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een VCA-certificaat en NEN 3140/3840-certificering.Je communiceert duidelijk, werkt graag samen en neemt zelfstandig initiatief.Je bent analytisch, oplossingsgericht en gericht op continue verbetering.

Everything, absolutely everything, is automated with the use of robotic processes. With these processes, they manage to distribute around 20 million products per week!!

If those robots work automatically, what will you do?

This enormous distributioncentre is divided in multiple departements with their own tasks and responsibilities. As an operator you will gradually learn to operate all these departments and what makes them unique. This includes different types of troubleshooting, maintenance activities and how to maxime the processes together with your colleagues!

At the Jumbo Distribution Center, we make sure all Jumbo supermarkets receive the right products on time. From fresh food to everyday groceries, we collect and prepare store orders so customers can easily find everything on their shopping lists. We also process returned items such as beer crates, empty bottles, and packaging materials.

The distribution center includes a picking department and a returns center. Most employees start as order pickers, using a headset system to gather products, with opportunities to grow into roles such as outbound goods employee or reach truck driver. 

We work in an international team where safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork are key. New employees receive training and step-by-step guidance to get off to a strong start.
