About the Role

As a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer, you'll help ensure that critical assets and building systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably across the Shell account. Working closely with operations teams and maintenance specialists, you'll focus on improving asset performance, reducing downtime, and identifying opportunities for long-term reliability improvements.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working with data, and making a real impact on how assets are maintained and operated. You'll be part of CBRE's Engineering & Technical Services team, supporting a world-class client environment where innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainability are key priorities. What we're looking for
HBO work and thinking level or a completed technical qualification at MBO 3/4 level, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Maintenance Engineering, Asset Management or a related discipline.3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, asset management or a similar technical environment.Experience with reliability methodologies such as FMEA, RCM, RCA, predictive maintenance or risk-based maintenance.Experience working with CMMS platforms and maintenance KPIs, ideally within industrial, energy, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, data centre or other critical environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical data into practical improvement initiatives.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI is an advantage.Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are considered an advantage.
