As an HSE Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards at our manufacturing site in Veghel. You will support the organization in creating a safe, sustainable, and compliant working environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and improving HSE processes in line with corporate standards.
• Supporting the development and implementation of the site's HSE strategy together with the QHSE Manager.
• Delivering HSE training and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.
• Leading and supporting sustainability initiatives related to waste, energy, and environmental performance.
• Preparing and supporting internal and external audits, including ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
• Managing HSE reporting, KPI dashboards, and data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintaining Risk Assessments (RI&E) and ensuring timely follow-up of corrective actions.
• Advising and supporting managers and employees on HSE-related topics and best practices.

• A NEBOSH certification, Intermediate Safety Management (MVK), Integrated Safety & Security Management, or an equivalent/higher qualification in Health, Safety & Environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in an HSE-related role, preferably within a complex and international organization.
• Knowledge of and experience with HSE management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills in both Dutch and English, with the ability to adapt information to different target audiences.
• Strong digital skills, including experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Excel.
