QA ENGINEER MANUFACTURING

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Vanderlande, you will play a key role in strengthening manufacturing quality and supporting new product introduction, prototyping, and industrialization projects. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Operations to identify risks early, solve problems at their root, and build robust processes that ensure long-term quality and reliability.

What Will You Do?
As part of the Manufacturing Quality Assurance team, you will drive proactive quality assurance and continuous improvement across the factory, with a particular focus on industrialization and new product introduction.
Your responsibilities include:
- Risk management: Lead Product and Process FMEAs to identify risks early and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into standards and processes.
- Root cause analysis: Facilitate investigations into quality and process issues using structured methods such as 8D, A3, PDCA, and Ishikawa.
- Corrective actions: Ensure corrective and preventive measures are implemented effectively and deliver sustainable results.
- New product introduction: Support prototype builds, pilot projects, and industrialization initiatives to ensure quality requirements are embedded from the start.
- Process improvement: Analyse quality data and process performance to identify opportunities for improvement, standardisation, and increased reliability.
- Quality coaching: Guide and support colleagues in applying quality tools, problem-solving techniques, and continuous improvement practices.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Operations to develop robust manufacturing processes and improve overall quality performance.
What do we offer?
- Salary: €5,000–€6,211 gross per month.
- 40 days of annual leave: 20 statutory vacation days plus a flexible budget equivalent to 20 additional days.

What do we ask from you?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and analytical professional who enjoys working in a technical and project-driven environment.
You bring:
- HBO degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with or strong interest in FMEA facilitation and risk management methodologies.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving methods (8D, PDCA, A3, Lean Six Sigma, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate findings into practical improvements.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrialization, or engineering environment.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor.
- Fluent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and verbal
